Video is a medium like no other, allowing us to relive a moment. Often enabling us to see things we missed. A bride we filmed was escorted down the aisle by her dad. All the way down the aisle her father was fighting to hold back tears. The tension on his face, struggling not to cry, was a truly great moment. But the bride, by his side, saw none of it...Until she was able to watch the video.  She had less success holding back her tears...

Today's video is able to be delivered on DVD, a virtually indestructible medium.
Video is about your life, about the reality of the moment, about forever...

At Gregoryfilms, we believe in personal service, and giving you the direct attention you deserve for your wedding day. That’s why we limit our productions to one event per day - we are NOT a wedding video factory, and we will never claim to do hundreds of weddings per year. We do only one per day, and we do it right. The name "Gregoryfilms" was chosen years ago because of our reputation for making every production look more like a "feature film" rather than just another video.

A word (or several) about pricing...

Our single camera ceremony and reception coverage begins at $1600. However, it is always worth letting us know exactly when and where your event is taking place as some times and locations may receive special pricing.

You cannot compare two companies by price alone. Quality doesn't work that way. Equipment alone is not enough, nor is proper sound and picture quality sufficient. If that were the case "Saving Private Ryan" & "Rambo" would be equally good movies.

"Budget" Videography Companies are everywhere. You can find one that does music, photography, limousine service, and catering. Some can perform your ceremony too. Please. There are excellent reasons some companies charge more than others. This is one of a very few major family events in your lifetime. Are you really going to trust it to Acme Video/Photo/Limo/Catering/Priests-to-Go Favor Company?

Weddings are one-take, one-shot events. Is it wise to depend on a company whose total experience is just a few  weddings? Or a company who claims to do over 200 per year? (considering  there are 52 weekends/year, is this possible?) At Gregoryfilms, we average 30-35 weddings per year, and have been shooting weddings for 17 years. We're proud that while not being a huge wedding video factory, we're also a large enough company, with enough experience to handle any situation, any wedding need with professionalism and style.. If it matters to you, it matters more to us. You are paying for more than equipment.
Your number one consideration should be experience. There are no second chances. Is it likely a company who has filmed 50 weddings will do a better job than a company who has done two? The answer to this question is the most important answer there is.

Our average client spends $2500 with us but many spend more, or less. Also, if you are really in need, and your budget is very tight, contact us. The right date and time can help. We may have a solution for you even if it is not us. We are happy to assist.

More things to consider...

Are big screen presentations a good idea?
Yes. They add another entertainment feature for your guests, can
elicit powerful emotions from everyone present, and will be one of the most unforgettable moments of your day.

Should I feed my Videographer?
Well, not until the wedding day, of course, but the cost of one more meal will allow your Videographer to remain in your ballroom while eating. This makes him available for any spontaneous moment. Also, it never hurts to treat your vendors like guests. The stronger the bond, the more personal the work. You make the call.

What should I know about lighting?
Avoid obtrusive, overpowering lighting. Top notch digital cameras don't require massive lighting to produce a quality picture. Making your guests more comfortable will produce better content and only a slightly softer picture than dramatic, intense, lighting.

Can't a friend tape my wedding for me?
Sure. He can cook your meal, take your photos, and perform plastic surgery for you as well. Don't go there.
